The Warp Films logo
Warp Films started of as a shop and record label in 1989 and is now one of the most respected and respected creative independent companies as of now. Its huge success spurted from its more recent and quite successful movies, such as; Four Lions and This is England.

Four Lions gained huge success even from it's opening weekend in both UK and the USA, being looked at positively from most critics globally; making a large amount of money even in it's opening weekend, making $41,512 (USA) and £608,608 (UK)


Time Magazine rated the film as among Top 10 movies of the year 2010.



At the BAFTAs 2011, Chris Morris won the award for 'Outstanding Debut By A British Writer, Director Or Producer'.



Warp Films was initially created with financial support from NESTA (The National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA) is an independent endowment in the United Kingdom established by an Act of Parliament in 1998.) and had a remit to produce a number of short films. Warp Films was established by Warp Records founding partners Rob Mitchell & Steve Beckett.
